Terminal Response Probable Cause Action Taken
Terminal Not
Reading the
USB Key
The USB Key is not set up correctly.  Make sure the TPN is unzipped and stored in the folder names "download" and that the "download" folder is stored directly on the USB Key root directory.
Unable to read "download" folder due to other files with special characters.  Make sure the other files stored in the USB Key root directory do not have any special characters in the file name.
Just completed an OS upgrade and the terminal can not read the USB Key.  It is necessary to remove the USB Key from the terminal for about 10 seconds and then re-insert the Key into the USB port. The 'Select Update' menu should appear within 5 to 10 seconds.
Terminal
Not Able to
Download
via Dial
The terminal fails to download via Telephone Line or Ehternet Cable.  According to Dejavoo, There is a terminal that is Black in color with Mustard Yellow sides, that is secure. It will be identified by a Green sticker on the bottom that stated "LOCKED". This terminal to locked to the server that built the credit card application and the check and gift card application would need to be built by them.
The terminal fails to download via Telephone Line.  When attempting to download the terminal via phone line, that phone line being used MUST have long distance service. This is due to the number calling is not a toll-free call.
Alernate Fix: Perform the download via Ethernet, if possible.
Downgrade dvd.app
X to Cancel
OK to Force
The file being downloaded was build with a "core" that is a lower version than the core that has been installed into the terminal.  The file would need to be deleted and a new file built with a more up-to-date core if possible.

If not possible contact Dejavoo and see if they can build the file or provide us with an updated core template.
