NOTE: SPOS software requires installed memory of 512K or higher. When 512 Kilobytes (512 KB) of memory is installed, 16 active pages of memory appear in the MEMORY PAGE STATUS display. When 1.5 Megabytes (1.5 MB) of memory is installed, 32 active pages of memory appear in the MEMORY PAGE STATUS display.

 Unplug the power cord from the terminal. Wait about 15 seconds and plug the power cord back into the terminal.
 A double beep indicates that the terminal has automatically initiated its self-diagnostic routine. The software and download status of the terminal is displayed during the self-test, which lasts approximately four (4) seconds.
