A PIN Pad can be encrypted for either MasterSession or DUKPT (Derived Unique Key Per Transaction) format.
The encryption format can be changed using the following procedures.

 ENTER PASSWORD:



 Key in the current password and press the [Enter/Paymt] button.

 Use the [Forced/] button to scroll down to System Options.
 MENU SCREEN:

 SYSTEM OPTIONS:
 1. Date/Time
 2. Edit PIN Key
 3. Select Master Key
 4. Set Batch No.
 Use the [Forced/] button to scroll down to Pin Pad Function.
 SYSTEM OPTIONS:
 7. Test Mode
 8. Predial Call
 9. PINPad Init
 10. PINPad Func.
 Press the [Enter/Paymt] button.
 


 Press the [Clear/Feed] button and immediately key in 2.
 DIAGN.L2 PASSWORD



 Key in 844747746 and press the [Enter/Paymt] button.
 CHOOSE PINPAD:
 1. Built In
 2. Ext.


 Key in 1 or 2.
 SELECT FRM MENU:
 1. Algorith Test
 2.
 3.
 4.
 Key in 4.
 NOW USING MS/SS.



 The terminal will briefly show what encryption method is being used.
 SELECT FRM MENU:
 1. Non-DUKPT
 2. DUKPT
 3. 3DES DUKPT
 Using the [Forced/] button, scroll down to the desired encryption method.
 SELECT FRM MENU:
 1. Algorith Test
 2.
 3.
 4.
 Press the [Menu/Esc] button three times.
 CREDIT . . . . . . . . . . . . . SALE
 ACCOUNT                        



 Change complete.
