The list below are errors that you may see during a credit card transaction failure.

Terminal Response	Probable Cause	Solution
Failure CV	The credit card processor host responds with “failure CV”.	Contacted TSYS representative who stated the merchant was not set up to accept American Express cards. The merchant would have to get with their sales representative and have the card type “flagged”, or enabled, on the host.
	The credit card processor host responds with “failure CV”.	Verify that the credit card merchant ID number provided by the sales representative is correctly entered into the file. A partial download will be required to correct the information in the terminal.
