menu allows you to change host parameters, such as merchant numbers, terminal IDs, and authorization numbers. Each host has different individual parameters, and should only be changed if advised by a technical support representative. This menu contains five sub-menus that can be changed manually in the terimal, if they are not hidden. They are: Host Parameters, Host Phone Numbers, Print EDC Setup, Protocol Version, and AutoDial Setup.

Allows the starting the download of the merchant's parameters to update the application previously downloaded into the terminal.

Allows the starting the download of the application and merchant's parameters to replace the application previously downloaded into the terminal.

Allows the starting of the download of the application only, no merchant parameters, to be downloaded into the terminal.

Has seven options which are: 1) Phone will allow entry of the phone number to be used to perform the download. 2) Exchange Pref will allow setting a dialing prefix specifically for dialing out to download only. 3) Via allows selecting download method. 4) Baud will allow selecting the baud rate of the download. 5) Dial will allow to selecting between tone and pulse telephone systems. 6) Gateway allows setting parameters for communications via COM1. 7) Suffix allows for a suffix at the end of the download phone number to access an outside line.
