menu allows you to change host parameters, such as merchant numbers, terminal IDs, and authorization numbers. Each host has different individual parameters, and should only be changed if advised by a technical support representative. This menu contains five sub-menus that can be changed manually in the terimal, if they are not hidden. They are: Host Parameters, Host Phone Numbers, Print EDC Setup, Protocol Version, and AutoDial Setup.

Allows the setting of the primary method of communication and has four options. These options are: Line, Wireless, LAN (Ethernet/WiFi), Dial/Direct PPP.

Allows the setting of the first backup method of communication and has five options. These options are: No Backup, Line, Wireless, LAN (Ethernet/WiFi), Dial/Direct PPP.

Allows the setting of the second backup method of communication and has five options. These options are: No Backup, Line, Wireless, LAN (Ethernet/WiFi), Dial/Direct PPP.

Allows setting the maximum amount of times the terminal will attempt to connect for authorizations or batching.

This option menu has four options. These options are: 1) Dial Type - Pulse or Tone. 2) Dialing Prefix- dial an exchange prefix before a phone number, when needed. 3) Phone# Display - allows the phone number being dialed to be displayed. 4) Break Mode - allow or disallow the user to interrupt the process while the terminal is establishing communications with the host processor.

This option menu has five options. These options are: 1) LAN Type, Static or DHCP. 2) IP Address, this option only when Static is selected. 3) Gateway IP, this option only when Static is selected. 4) SubnetMask, this option only when Static is selected. 5) DNS IP, this option only when Static is selected.

Allows the setting to be controlled by the Session Management or by Session Timeout.

Allows this option to be set to On or Off.

Allows for printing the communication parameters set in the terminal.

Allows this option to be set to On or Off.
