VeriFone’s Omni Vx-Series family of terminals puts unprecedented power and performance into
the palm of your hand. They offer a user-friendly ATM-style interface, large display, printing capabilities, and an integrated
PIN pad in a compact ‘hand over’ design.
The Vx610 is a portable powerhouse — a battery-powered payment device with
exceptional performance and high-end functionality. It uses the latest wireless technologies — CDMA and GPRS — and
has advanced security with PCI PED approval.
VeriFone's PCI PED approved Vx610 is a wireless solution that delivers
blazing performance, high-end functionality, and exceptional ease of use — without tying customers to a fixed location.
It brings the point of sale to the point of service. For example, merchants can instantly open an extra lane or support an
outdoor market. |
The Vx-Series terminals may be configured with: a smart card reader or with
three MSAM cardholders. The MSAM (Micromodule-Size Security Access Module) is used to support multiple stored-value card
programs or other merchant card requirements.
GETI currently supports several applications on the Omni Vx-Series
terminals, the application used is driven by the type of service the merchant is utilizing. SCRMI340G (Checks) is the application
currently used for our standard check service (Check21, ACH Conversion, and Paper Guarantee). VOPTIP255 (Gift Cards) is used by
merchant's processing Gift & Loyalty service through Open Payment Technology. In addition to these applications, VVMAC390
(Verix Multi-Application Conductor Version 3.9.0.8) and UCSE1R305 (CommServer Version 30.5) are available within VeriCentre. A
merchant can be downloaded with one or a combination of these applications, all housed within a single file build. A breakdown of
the Multi-App capability for each terminal is provided below.
The Omni 3730 terminal is identical to the Vx510 terminal.
The Vx570 has the same functionality as the 3750.
