RDM EC-6000i Series Imager

The RDM EC-6000i Series Imager provides digital check imaging along with reading the MICR (Magnetic Ink and Character Recognition) information from the check. It is compatible with virtually all Point of Sale terminals to include the Thales Talento, Verifone Omni series terminals, Nurit and Hypercom T7 and ICE series terminals. The RDM EC-6000i is a plug and play terminal, and does not require a configuration check as the Magtek readers do. There are several different models of the RDM EC-6000i Series imagers, there are different models with different capabilities. The RDM EC-6000i Imager MUST be connected to a phone line (independent of the line used by the Point of Sale terminal) in order for the images to be uploaded to the archive.

Some terminals have the capability of uploading the images through the terminal with the aid of an application and therefore; not requiring a telephone line or Ethernet connected to the imager itself.

EC6011F	6000-xxxxx-xxx	Medium memory terminal with *no internal modem. This imager can be utilized with a variety of terminals. Capable of storing approximately 175* images. Has the added feature of "Franking" the checks by printing "Electronically Presented" on the face of the check.
EC6014	6000-xxxxx-xxx	Equivalent to the EC6004 with the added feature of having a USB interface. This imager can be utilized with a variety of terminals.
EC6014F	6000-xxxxx-xxx	Equivalent to the EC6014 with the added feature of being able to "Frank" the checks. The same rules apply to Franking as do with the EC6004F.

RDM EC-6000 Franking Feature
Franking is supported on the following terminal types:
	Hypercom ICE and T7 Series terminals using SPOS9. Hypercom T4100 and T4200 Series terminals. Nurit terminals. Personal Computers (PCs). Thales Talento terminals. VeriFone Omni terminals.
The RDM Franking Acknowledgment roller (RDM P/N 6000-6050) can be purchased through most of our distributors and resellers.
