Before the download can be completed on a Tranz terminal, the "Free Key" must be known. The "Free Key" is defined as the numeric key
on the terminal that is not being utilized by some feature of the credit card application. Downloading the check service onto the terminal
without first verifying the "Free Key" can have an adverse effect on the terminals ability to process credit cards.

Terminal Displays Action Taken
 Press the Blue [Func/Enter] button and then the [7] button.
 RECALL WHAT ?  Press the [0] button and then the Blue [Func/Enter] button.
 000 =  Press the Gray [Back Space] button.
 ENTER PASSWORD  Key in 1, [Alpha], [Alpha], 66831 and press Blue [Func/Enter] button.
 000 =  Key in 18007573583 or 9,18007573583 and press the Blue [Func/Enter] button.
 000 = 18007573583  Press the Blue [Func/Enter] button.
 001 =  Press the Gray [Back Space] button.
 001 =  Key in the 640397235 and press the Blue [Func/Enter] button.
 001 = 640397235  Key in 19 and press the Blue [Func/Enter] button.
 019 =  Press the Gray [Back Space] button.
 019 =  Key in the application to be used and press the Blue [Enter] button.
To key in a letter, press the numbered button with the desired letter on it and then press the [Alpha] button until you get the desired letter.
NOTE: The letters Q & Z are located on the number 1 button.

 019 = 38IDD7  Press the Gray [Clear] button.
 Press the Blue [Func/Enter] button, the [0] button, and the Blue [Func/Enter] button.
If Credit Card processing will also in the terminal, press the Blue [Func/Enter] button, the [0] button, and the [*] button for a Partial Download.
   The terminal will dial and start downloading.
 DOWNLOAD DONE  Press the Gray [Clear] button.
 Download complete.

 x04 =  Key in the correct Verification MID and press the Blue [Func/Enter] button.   Example: 640-234567-890.
NOTE: The Dash (-) is created by first pressing the 0 key and then the [Alpha] button pressed once.
 x04 = 234567  Press the Gray [Clear] button.
 Change complete.
